Biosafety Cabinet (BSC) is biohazard and pathogen sample handling facility that can protect operators and the environment from sample hazard (low to medium risk from biological agents such as human pathogens) and protect sample from contamination using a negative pressure airflow system and filtered by HEPA Filter/ULPA Filter and It is commonly used in clinical diagnostic laboratories. BSC II A2 1100 Prime from Batavialab is a BSC Class II Type 2A with capabilities mentioned in accordance with NSF 49 (proven by a test certificate). It has air flow pattern of 70% recirculated into Downflow and 30% is exhausted into the environment after being filtered by a HEPA Filter/ULPA Filter.
Construction
Control Panel by Logic Panel (PLC + HMI 7 Inches Touchscreen): A Logic Panel consisting of a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) in a single 7 Inches Touchscreen display device to set the Airflow Velocity Set Point (Downflow and Inflow), PID Numbers (Proportional-Integral Derivative Numbers), and the required Blower's power (in percentage). In addition, you can also enter parameters limits and the service life of HEPA Filter/ULPA Filter, UVC and LED lights related to alarm settings. On the HMI display, you can also turn the LED and UVC lights On/Off and set the duration of the UVC light for sterilization.
